North Texas Celebration (NTC) is the YOUTH VERSION of NTPP for 9th through 12th graders. It is formatted similarly to Pilgrimage, but is a day shorter and led by a youth staff made up of former participants. Many youth have found NTC to be a transformative part of their journey as they grow in their faith. At a North Texas Celebration weekend, youth will experience God's unfailing love for them through small groups, worship, and activities while also having a lot of fun!
Weekends are held twice a year in early August and late December at Lake Lavon Camp and Conference Center. After attending once as a participant, youth may choose to return to future weekends as a volunteer staff member. Every weekend is chaperoned by "Moms and Dads," volunteer adult staffers who usually have prior experience with Pilgrimage and/or Celebration.
Participant and staff applications become available at northtexascelebration.com several months before the weekend occurs. You can also find more information under the "FAQs" page on the website or contact youth or adults who have attended previously. Most alumni are happy to talk to potential participants and/or staffers and share how North Texas Celebration has impacted their lives!
